We want to rhyme all the time! My children have a passion for rhyming and I want to be able to give them a hands-on experience! Who wants to learn about rhyming by listening to the teacher talk about rhyming? No one does! Please help us get some fun hands-on rhyming activities.
I teach a full day inclusive kindergarten with 18 eager learners.
Many of my children have their first experience with rhyming in my classroom. With this in mind, I try to make the experience as engaging and hands-on as possible. My children need many activities to help them learn how to rhyme.
My Project
My students need five rhyming learning centers, as well as, four headphones to use with the listening activities. Each year I dream of being able to purchase new activities that will create a more meaningful learning experience for my class. With the limited funding available I am unable to purchase all of the things that I would like. The learning activities I am requesting would allow my children to have a hands-on experience with rhyming. They would be able to listen and rhyme with interactive learning center activities. They would also be able to interact with our Smart board. Other activities would allow my children to be engaged and excited to rhyme during learning center times throughout the day.
My children love to learn and I love to see their faces light up when they finally "get it." Please help us get some activities that will give my class a hands-on experience with rhyming.
Wouldn't it be a great feeling to know that you helped a child learn about rhyming in a fun hands-on way? Please help us so that we can Rhyme all the Time!
