Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are full of energy and excited about learning unknown things about learning. We all have feelings. Rhithm is a program that deals with students social and emotional needs. The Apple Macbook Air Laptop would send the teacher and school staff alerts about how each child is feeling during each transition within the school time frame. My students are all different and unique in their learning styles and abilities. The students I teach come from a wide variety of situations. Having students with such diverse backgrounds makes instructional learning crucial to the classroom.

Please help me to inspire, involve, and invest in students' futures through an Apple Macbook Air Laptop that will help monitor students' social and emotional needs!

Rhithm is a K12 student and staff wellness check-in tool. The platform selects an ideal 1–3 minute SEL activity and intervention video to regulate well-being based on user-given data from a simple emoji assessment. This data is available on dashboards to reflect and connect with as desired at the campus, district/network, and state levels.

The self-management program of Rhithm domain requires skills and attitudes that facilitate the ability to regulate emotions and behaviors. Including the ability to delay gratification, manage stress, control impulses, and persevere through challenges to achieve personal and educational goals while at school. The program Rhithm sends immediate alert signals to the teacher and staff that a child is not feeling their best at school and needs some attention.
