Students have been working hard this year and I want to reward them for all their efforts in behaviors and academics. Students asked for mini ducks, dinos, turtles, an animated classroom character, fidgets, mini trolls and other animals, bracelets, squishies, gum, mints, lip balm, hand lotion, stickers, and more as rewards.
Students earn tickets in class and at the end of the week we pull several tickets and those students get to pick a reward for the week.
I also want to get a claw machine and prize capsules to make it more fun for students when they get rewards. I have been using this reward system to help with student behavior and having incentives that they love hits home with them.
Lastly, we need personal hygiene and cleaning products for our classroom. I have over 200 students in and out of my classroom each day and they create a number of germs, wipes and paper towels will help cut down on the germs by having them wipe things down after each class. I have then also had a number of my girls asking to have tampons and deodorant on hand in case they forget them at home or need something in an emergency. I have a care closet that I continue to keep stocked with supplies my students will need throughout the year.
