My Project

We are a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) school, where students are encouraged to make good choices with positive rewards. Staff is handing out "Panther Bucks" to students who are exemplifying respect, responsibility, and safety. They love earning this currency to spend in the school store, however, I would like to take it a step further and motivate my students even more in the classroom, and be able to give rewards within my classroom as well when they make good choices!

I would really like to continue our positive behavior supports by doing weekly incentive giveaways!

My awesome third graders are now aware of my expectations while on campus. I would love to increase consistent daily attendance and promote a healthy social-emotional space for my students. Students will earn incentives based on positive behavior during class. This will motivate my kiddos to arrive on time, complete assignments, and work on their character! This will also encourage students to be more present for lessons, and will increase their understanding of key concepts. I am really excited to see this idea boost their grades!
