This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am currently a third-grade teacher to amazing students in a low-income community. I have the same students from last year because I was given the opportunity to loop with them. I am so thankful for that. Aside from being in the Class Champions and Coyotes Reading program, they are students that strive to be their best selves each day.

My students set high standards for themselves and push themselves to be their very best each day.

We are an extremely close classroom with much to celebrate.

My Project

I am a third-grade teacher to the most amazing students. I firmly believe that when students meet high expectations, they deserve to be rewarded. My goal is to have all my students reach their potential and move to success. I am hoping to get the following for our classroom: books, slime, smelly stickers, and candy. I plan to put these in our treasure box that they pick out of when they reach specific goals. I know they will be motivated by these items! When students are rewarded, they are likely to show up to class, participate and meet the expectations set forth.
