This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have been fulfilling my lifelong ambition of teaching and inspiring children for over 12 years. My passion is to help my students reach their potential and, in doing so, discover the joy of learning.
I have the opportunity to teach 30 unique students at a public school.
My school is a K-8, Title I school, where all of the students receive free breakfast and lunch and come from low-income families. My school encourages a diverse approach to learning that inspires each student to learn, achieve, and remain committed to high standards in all content areas.
My Project
The students in my classroom respond well to receiving incentives for their behavior. I need some new, fun items to fill up my prize box. This project is full of items that will peek my students interests and motivate them to behave appropriately. The students in my classroom sit in groups. Each group receives tally marks when the students in that group are focused, on task, and ready to learn. At the end of the day, each student in the winning group can choose a piece of candy or a prize from the prize box
In this project I am asking for things like race cars, bracelets, sticky hands, bouncey balls, squishees, airplanes, etc.
I can't wait to re-stock my prize box and reward my students!
