Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is for incentives and rewards for hard work and effort from my students. The small prizes will also be used as an incentive to make good behavior choices in the classroom. We all feel good when our efforts are noticed and we receive a small reward. It is especially important to students who struggle with their classwork or behavior. I have done this in the past and it definitely makes a positive difference in the students.

My goal is to encourage my students to always try their best to do well in school and make good choices!

They are sweet kids who want to learn, and they enjoy getting a little recognition or incentive to keep working hard.

I have also requested a few jigsaw puzzles and sight word games for the classroom. These are great activities for a rainy day recess! The puzzles help them learn to problem solve and try different solutions. The sight word games make learning fun.

This project will provide enough supplies for two first grade classes.
