My Students

I have a curious and lively class of second and third graders this year. They come to me from a wonderfully diverse background. Somethings they all have in common are that they love to explore new things and learn about themselves and the world around them.

Every day they look for hands on experiences and love to be challenged!

The students are able to make great connections as they learn and grow their awesome skills in reading, math, social studies, and science.

My Project

We'll use these balancing boards in class to build core strength and improve our posture.It's a challenge for students to stay focused on work while in their seats for too long. We need things to do that will energize our bodies and engage the brain too. With six of these compact balance boards, we can work on balance and body awareness.

It will also be a great activity for partners to support and rely on one another for safety.

The boards are colorful and appealing. They are also small enough to tuck away for storage when not being used.
