Help me give my students an concise AP European history review book that provides students with practice essays, short answer questions and multiple choice questions.
My students are hardworking, young adults who are willing to take on an academic challenge by pursuing an AP class. My students are overwhelmingly sophomores and seniors, meaning that some of them are taking a college-level course, with college-level expectations at the young age of 15 years old.
They work incredibly hard at improving their reading, writing and critical thinking skills.
I want my students to leave my class with a love of history, but more importantly, the ability to critically analyze sources and make informed decisions. My course stresses critical thinking and writing, and while it is challenging for many students, in the end, they feel a sense of accomplishment for completing the course, and a majority of them will also earn scores high enough to qualify them for college credit on the AP test. These students are driven, innovative, and hardworking. They are our future leaders, and the future is in good hands.
My Project
I am working toward building a set of review books for students to use on the AP test. I have done similar projects and hope to eventually get enough of these books to allow each student to check one out and use at home.
AMSCO will provide my students with practice questions and information that will increase their chance of success on the AP test.
We will use the books as an in-class resource, and also allow students to check the books out for home use. These books will be a boon for my students, as they simplify what the students really need to focus on studying, and they provide practice on "Long Essay Questions", "Short Answer Questions", "Stimulus Based Multiple Choice Questions", and the "Document Based Question". This is a great tool for students to study.
