Revealing The Rain Forest

My Project

The requested supplies will allow me to provide hands on, interactive and multi modal ways of communicating for the core of my students, who are on the autism spectrum. Themed books are paired with adapted materials from Teachers Pay Teachers so the students can actively engage with the story. Also, hands on activities with items like the green sand for grass, miniature rain forest animals, ivy decorations, themed sensory bins are utilized to encourage rich communication interactions.

My students are exceptional in every way, especially in the way they communicate and learn.

They use verbal output communication devices, picture boards, signing, gestures, and facial expressions. By supplying them with an immersive experience, their exceptional learning styles can be met and fostered in a enticing experience.
