Many students who will complete this lesson will have new knowledge of using relief printing techniques.
A lot of my students are not able to experience art in their everyday life.
Some have to work to support their families. Most all of the students love to create when we have the supplies. Unfortunately the budget doesn't always allow to replace materials.
My Project
Student will be introduced into block printmaking by using the concept that sometimes the marks we make on others can reveal something beautiful. My students need new block printing supplies such as ink and and easy to cut sheets! The concept of bullying and mental health is applied in this idea that students can bring out the best in others!
Many students doubt their ability to create amazing art.
With these materials they will have the ability to plan something out that will leave many prints behind. The ability to think of others in positive ways will allow students to develop strong character while making gorgeous artwork!
