Help me give my students supplies to ensure that our classroom runs smoothly. We need pens, dry erase markers, sharpies, laminating pouches, ink for our printer, printer paper, and disinfectant wipes to ensure our room is clean.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty area, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite all of the challenges they may face, I want to provide them with the opportunity to learn and grow beyond what they can imagine.
Our students are sweet, energetic, and eager to learn.
They love to move, dance, listen to stories, go on adventures, build, and do science experiments. From the time we arrive in class until it is time to go home our class is filled with fun, interactive, intentional learning.
My Project
Learning is always challenging, but fun in my classroom. With the lack of supplies and materials, it is difficult for me to teach the lesson in a way that will be more concise for my students. I would absolutely love to have a day at school where I have all the necessary resources to reach my students fullest potential. I believe if I have all the materials and supplies on site, I can be more successful in my classroom! They can use a variety of tools to learn such as expo markers, paper, pencils, and other necessary materials to make the job easier.
I feel if my students are prepared without worrying about having materials/supplies they will improve in their subject matter.
My students are eager to learn and I am eager to teach. I believe having the necessary materials to teach and learn are essential to educating our students. Because of the low socioeconomic backgrounds of most of my students I have to purchase supplies with my own money after the EFF cards are used. Please help to fund my classroom so I can move my students to the next level without any difficulties!
