My Students

"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." Dr Seuss. My students are in need of new books so they will go far!

The children in my classroom are fantastic!

My students are eager-to-learn 4th graders in an urban classroom with limited resources. Many come from homes with few or no books in them. My students rely on school to provide the materials necessary for their success.

My Project

This is the first time in several years that I will be responsible for teaching the reading curriculum, and my classroom library is severely outdated. Students use the books in the classroom library for independent reading. We need new books to motivate students and inspire a love of reading.

By donating to this project, you will be providing crucial resources for developing readers.

These books will be used over and over by students. You will help build students skills as well as encourage a love of reading.
