Resurface Student Lab Tables

Help me give my students good looking lab tables without paint wearing off and scratches. The epoxy resin will make the table surface strong and smooth.

My Students

The students I teach are enthusiastic and love science. They come from a variety of backgrounds but this is their first, completely science focused class. They enjoy hands on science activities and conversation that leads to a better understanding of the world around them.

My Project

The lab tables we have in our classroom are old and the surfaces worn. With some sanding and new epoxy, we can resurface these tables at a fraction of the cost of buying new tables.

I have sanded the tables in the past and painted them on my own time, but paint isn't holding up and the tables are starting to look worn again.

The cost of a new table is over $300 and I have 12 tables. Epoxy looks like a great option for fixing these tables.
