Help me give my students a new classroom rug. Group time or reading time on the floor can be possible and comfortable for them! The puzzles will help several students with their fine motor skills!
My students are some of the most cheerful and energetic students you could possibly meet! Their loving and welcoming personalities will bring a smile to any face. They enjoy recess and outside activities. In other words, my students love to work away from their desks!
Unfortunately, many of our students and classrooms were affected in the wake of Hurricane Florence.
We want our students to be able to come back to school without worry.

My Project
Several of my students are working on their fine motor skills. The puzzles will help the students improve on this front. The carpet will be a way for the students to have group time on the floor and allows the students who may struggle with sitting still have a place they can move around within reason.
As many students are working on these skills and tasks, these items will be able to provide alternatives that will help the classroom function!
Through the use of these items, it is my goal to allow the students to come back to something that will encourage and inspire them. Knowing that more people care about them will give them peace!
