My Students

I provide social and emotional support as the Restorative Practice Assistant. We are located in the lovely Inglewood Community of East Nashville.

The students here are creative, inquisitive, goal-oriented and filled with promises!

They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!

Each day, the students are eager and ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Our students are the reason why I push myself to ensure they are equipped with the tools and essentials they need!

My Project

The tablets that I have requested will give our students another technology tool that they can use to learn and grow. This tool can help in more ways than just by helping with their assignments and homework. There are many features and apps that help students learn and grow that they will be able to utilize.

Our students sometimes suffer because they need additional help in growing, and some learn best with a hands-on experience.

During this time especially, we can't offer one-on-one support, and this project could benefit them by helping them learn and grow. The project will be beneficial both during virtual learning and after students return to the building.

Helping support growth and learning is a task while dealing with behavior concerns that occur at times during in class learning. An electronic device such as a tablet can help shift the behavior and focus on redirecting the student back into the learning environment.
