This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic, growing kids who have yet to be given the opportunity to see the beauty of math that can be found in everyday things. My students are a social and active group that enjoys engaging activities that they can participate in with one another and share their ideas and experiences with each other. They are open to learning of all types of modalities - especially kinesthetic. With donations that stretch their minds, you could change their futures.

My Project

As we begin the second semester, a restocking of supplies is needed. Most materials requested are basic supplies that we use for our non-permanent vertical surfaces. However, also included are a few math rewards for students. While the quantity requested is a bit high, I am requesting this amount of math rewards so that I can offer at least one reward to every student in my class. Furthermore, by selecting more than one type of reward it will let them choose from the options rather than just me giving them a random reward.
