My students are varied and unique as can be. They learn in different ways and react uniquely.
They crave education and have each chosen to be in THIS Arts class.
That is one amazingly special fact about my school. We feel it is imperative that the students get a chance to choose to learn what they are passionate about in the field of the Arts. In any given class, we have students that fit into every role in theater, not just every part in a play, but every role within the theater: playwright, actors, producers, director, designers, crew...etc.
My Project
Throughout our school year, we go through many items, each that need to be replenished every year. Printer ink, markers and paper make up a bulk of what is needed.
This project will aid my students' creativity by allowing them to not have to worry about how they are going to pay for materials that they use on a regular basis.
Many of my students do not have regular access to a printer in their homes. Because of that, every year I have a classroom printing station that is open to my students to use freely. They appreciate it, and tell me so daily.
