We are a rural high school located close to the Virginia border in North Carolina. Our small school struggles to recruit and keep players on our athletic teams. Besides being "out in the country,” over 25% of our students have special needs and over 50% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. We are not a large school and do not have many resources; however, the teachers and staff here have big hearts and we make do with grit, determination and a passion for academics and athletics. We love our students dearly and are committed to their success.
My Project
Back in March, at the beginning of the Corona virus outbreak, I mailed a lot of art supplies home to my students so they could create art away from the art room. I am now looking to replenish the supplies for next school year.
I don't have a very large art budget and am looking to restock my art materials and supplies.
With your help, we can make this happen.
I number the rulers and brushes and put them in each students cubbie so that the materials aren't shared. I need some more left handed scissors for my students. This will help stop the spread of the virus.
