My Students

A typical day in my classroom is all about learning, exploring, creating and experiencing!!! Many of my students are thirsty for information and spend much of their day researching, reading and exploring. We spend our days discovering through hands on experiences and have daily discussions about real life. I give my student plenty of time throughout the year to show what they've learned through creating projects through art.

My fifth graders are students who yearn to learn.

They are bright and continually researching information for not only class projects, but for pure enjoyment. They like to stay connected and love to read books on real life information that can give them a wealth of knowledge. Our school is full of children who continually look for ways to extend their learning and who love to experience new situations and learn about real life.

My Project

My fifth graders love to do art. Painting is a skill that they are honing in this grade, but they tend to get frustrated when their beautiful art work that they have created ends up on the floor or stuck to another piece. Unfortunately, we don't have the appropriate drying area for their masterpieces.

Using a stable drying rack for our paintings and art work will give the students the ability to complete a masterpiece without worrying if it is going to be ruined by falling on the floor or getting misplaced.

Since we have so many students in our classroom, having a safe place to put our art work would mean the world to my class.
