My Students
The students in our Preschool are known for their big personalities and big emotions. Imagination and creativity flows through the room as children act on their inner/future engineer, architect, computer techs and a drummer in a rock band skills.
Strong imaginations and confident leaders help make everyday different, challenging and fun.
During large group or our weekly class meeting, future musicians, future lawyers, doctors, politicians and motivational speakers are not afraid to express their feelings creativity and ‘speak their peace’.
My Project
Rest time is important in helping preschoolers learn. Afternoon rest plays a critical role in enhancing memory and learning capabilities of young children. Having a small comfort (like at home) of a sheet helps a preschool settle down and allow their bodies to rest.
Rest time promotes a healthy emotional and cognitive development in young children.
It give student a chance to physically re-energize, emotionally unwind and a chance to regroup. Having a consistent time to rest and a safe place is very important to a child; but also having a cot, blanket and sheet to call their own is important. Being able to have a piece of the classroom that they are responsible for gives a preschooler a sense of independence and responsibility
