My Project
A group of teachers will be using these resources to examine our own (and others) cultural identities. These books will serve as a professional development resource library as we deepen our understanding of some of the history influencing systemic inequalities identified in educational data.
This complex topic needs to be simplified into a more accessible format for teachers to easily utilize. As the teacher professional development group meets and collaborates, the donated resources will help guide the process of co-creating age-appropriate activities for elementary grade teachers to use within the classroom that help build on the many assets our students and their families bring to the learning space.
