My Students

My students are amazing kids. They work hard in everything that they do. They try their hardest, but they are kids, and sometimes they just need a different variety of things to engage them in learning. I am in an immersion program, so we have 48 kids total. They are split between two classes. We teach both groups every day. My partner teacher teaches Portuguese to my students. They are learning to be bilingual, and that adds more challenges to their education.

I love teaching 4th grade!

These students are my light and joy. They add so much happiness. The students love to have a variety of places to be engaged in learning. I plan as many lessons as I can in order for them to be up around the room engaging with their classmates and doing the things that are challenging to each of them.

My Project

These materials are going to make a difference in the lives of my students. They have struggled through COVID-19 and have lost valuable learning time in the classroom. Many have not read a full book, many struggles to visualize math concepts, and many struggles to organize their work. The use of materials will be used for literacy, math, and writing. The books will be used not only for literacy but for social skills when discussing the books in groups. These social skills are essential for them as they continue on with their education. The math materials will be used during fraction lessons. The storage will be used to help students organize different activities.
