Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are high-ability learners across grades 3-5 who need to be challenged while attending school virtually! They are energetic, enthusiastic, and interested in learning. We need to be sure they stay that way on the other side of the pandemic.
My Project
My students are high ability learners. They have been attending school virtually for months and sometimes lose motivation. I am looking for ways to provide an enriched, cross-curricular learning experience for them in our daily classes.
We need fresh resources to keep students challenged and engaged while they stay safe at home.
They will love to tackle these new materials and will be so excited to try them all out! Specifically, the selected curriculum materials will help them improve their critical thinking skills which is an invaluable 21st-century skill.
Breakout.Edu will help students collaborate and practice the application of critical thinking skills in fun, interactive challenges. TIME for Kids will expand the materials available to them to learn more about the world around them. We would love to have these resources to enrich our virtual learning!
