My Project

I am requesting books and resources to support my students learning how to navigate their big feelings. Since the COVID school closure, we have seen a higher need for guidance with how to get along with others, how to handle frustration, and how to sit and work quietly in class. I look forward to having the entire sets of the book series so we can explore many topics about feelings. I am also asking for bouncy bands so students with wiggly bodies can sit and work at their desks, without disturbing their friends' learning.

These books, materials, and bouncy bands will allow my students to feel calm and confident as they navigate challenging social and academic situations.

Our Calming Corner is a special place students sit to relax and regroup when they are feeling overwhelmed.
