This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a French/Spanish immersion middle school. We just started this year and are building a curriculum for 6-8th graders.

My district spent most of our budget on books before we opened, which means I didn't get a chance to assess my students' levels and select appropriate materials.

The books we have are far too advanced, which means this year I'm having to create a ton of my own material.

These books will provide examples of possible textbooks, activities to implement right away that focus on my students' needs, and examples of materials from France.
