My Students

I am a special education teacher, and currently have 40+ students who we are helping provide services to. We are in the process of preparing for remote learning and that requires a lot of new resources and materials to get ready and have on hand in case the inevitable need arises. We are a low-income school in a rural community. Our school is a PK-2nd grade with average of 18-20 students per room and 5 Pk/K, 5 1st grade, and 5 2nd grade classrooms.

My Project

The gift of teachers pay teachers gift cards is so helpful when we are needing to find and make accommodations and search for resources for our Special Education Students.

We are always in need of new resources for teaching small groups, 1-1, and independent work stations for special education students.

With the unknown possibility of remote learning on the horizon and the unknown, we also are needing various resources for this type of learning also. We are specifically wanting to explore Boom cards with students which help with the practice of learned skills and show the students the correct answers all while working independently on a device. The flexibility of searching on TPT for resources that fit our own students' needs creates endless possibilities of potential growth for our students.
