My Students

My students are energetic and open-minded inquirers! They come from a variety of backgrounds both culturally and socioeconomically, which makes for many challenges in terms of differentiation. Since the school is an International Baccalaureate school, the students are held to a high standard and are expected to work on a variety of research and inquiry-based projects throughout the year.

My students need to have visual aids around the classroom!

Help me get a laminator so I can make signs and laminate images for my students to use.

My Project

We are requesting a laminator and five iPads to work on listening skills and reading in French! My students are learning a language from the beginning! They need a lot of repetition in multiple modalities and images and other visual supports. I want to use the laminator to decorate the classroom with visual aids and laminate images and manipulatives such as sentence strips.

The iPads will be used for work in stations - students will listen or record themselves speaking or work on reading using apps such as RAZ kids and Storyplayr.
