I have the pleasure of teaching/supporting preschool children from ages 3-5 years old. All the children in my classroom come from a low-income family/single parent household. Many of the children come to school looking for a safe and fun learning environment to grow. As a teacher, I am able to see the results of their abilities they have achieved while attending school.
These children need support with their development with the materials we put into our classroom.
Our school budget limits our abilities to provide all the materials that our students need. With your donation, you will help our current fifty-eight children and the future children that will attend our school.
I can't wait to see the smiles and joy that will come from the students when we get our project funded. We thank you in advance for your support.
As a teacher and a single mom, sometimes it gets difficult to buy materials for my classroom. I am asking for sets of scissors for our children to use inside the classroom. They will be able to build their fine motor skills and learn how to properly use scissors to be creative. Crayons will broaden our current art center to the children can draw with a variety of colors. The magnets will help the new children in my classroom see themselves and their name and will learn how to recognize their name without the picture later in the year. I'm also asking for an apron for myself. I carry tissues for the children, markers, scissors and all kinds of goodies that are easily accessible when I'm not near where they are stored.
These resources help the classroom function smoothly.
