My students are on their way to learning a second language. Parents and students have taken on this endeavor, knowing the hard work that this program entails. They are learning a second language while keeping up with their English skill set. They are eager and willing to work, making them successful.
My students love reading!
I find them constantly reading and I believe that their academic success correlates to their love of reading. They enjoy reading the Scholastic magazines, the magazines are interesting and up to date.
Not only do they enjoy reading but they enjoy the activities that are presented in each subscription. We use the magazine stories to generate conversation in the classroom in Spanish and English. The activities, videos and quizzes provide excellent study material. Help me be a facilitator in their learning a second language!
