I am an Academic Intervention Service Teacher in First Grade. We have an extremely large ESL population and lack many resources needed to support them.

These are children in first grade who are learning to read and write, which is not an easy task when you don't know the English language. I want to help them with vocabulary so I can better support them in their academics.

I would love some resources that will help my children with vocabulary and the alphabet. The picture cards that I have chosen will be a wonderful source of information for these students who are learning the English language. With resources such as these, they will be able recognize words in stories and write stories of their own.

You will make it possible for my students to feel like they are a part of their classroom instead of isolated and out of place. Thank you in advance for your help. The children will truly appreciate it.
