My students live and are educated in one of the most dangerous cities in America, Camden, NJ. Our school and the surrounding district are constantly classified as being an area of "highest need," and my students are all too aware of that fact. However, this does not stop them from dreaming big dreams and setting high goals for themselves. They are a motivated, dedicated, and all-around wonderful group of students who deserve the best!
My students refuse to allow their circumstances to hold them back.
They are determined to succeed in the classroom and to uphold our school's long-standing tradition of 100% high school graduation rate and college acceptance. Walking in the footsteps of those who have gone before them is a point of pride for my students and I hold it as my greatest honor and responsibility to provide them with everything that they need to reach their goals.
My Project
With support from your generous donations, my students will be able to receive basic school supplies that they might not be able to purchase on their own. They will be able to focus on creating projects and completing their work without worrying about where to get pencils, pens, and tissues.
Your donations will help my students receive the supplies they need to finish off the school year with success.
My students will have highlighters to successfully close read in English class. They will also have the basic tools to help them succeed in each subject, as well as hand sanitizer and tissues to help keep them healthy.
With help from you, my students will also be able to use Sharpies to work on art projects for Math and English class. The bouncy bands will help students who have trouble sitting still. They will be able to channel their energy through the bouncy bands and successfully complete their work.
