Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My six special education paraprofessionals and myself work with thirty-two special needs students, who range from significant disabilities to educational support. Each student is truly unique and I strive to educate each and every student to achieve to their highest potential.

Our school district has a 60% poverty level and have many students who do not have access to computers or any other kind of technology at home, or school supplies or food.

Out of my own pocket I help provide school supplies, snacks and give them the opportunity to have access to technology in my classroom.

My Project

My students will learn how to excel and become the best achieving students they can with new technology in the classroom. Many student's do not have access to technology in their homes, so they depend on my classroom to have access.

Each student in my classroom is on an Individualized Education Plan, with goals they need to achieve each year.

To have more access to technology would help these student's achieve their individual goals. With the technology I could better assist them with online activities, curriculum and lessons for each individual student to achieve their greatness.

The goal of receiving the new technology in the resource classroom is to help each student progress and succeed to their each individual success in the education.
