Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is located in an agricultural area, and it serves a mostly low-income population with 100% of the students receiving free lunches. Many of the students' parents have seasonal, agricultural related, low-income jobs.
My students are eager learners, bright, curious, inquisitive, respectful, loving, and willing to work hard.
They are amazing and deserve the best! My kindergarten class is a general education mainstream (ESL-English as a second language) and consists of 29 students between the ages of four and six years old.
Kindergartners are the best students! They are eager learners and their curiosity has no limits.
My Project
My students are amazing learners. Our teacher created Resource Binders are used on a daily basis to review, reading, math, social studies, and science concepts. Our important information has been growing throughout the year(s) and we are in great need of new and bigger binders. Art is created and incorporated into the majority of our lessons. Coloring and gluing is a vital part of the kindergarten experience.
Our "Resource Binders", and art projects support our learning experience.
The learning of many new concepts and the constant review of kindergarten material will be greatly facilitated by the acquisition of new binders, sheet protectors, and laminating pouches. Students will be able to create art projects to complement their learning and we will have a nice display area.
