My students need pencils, pencil sharpeners and dry erase markers as supplies. They also need fraction dominoes, Kindle Fires and cases to enhance their learning!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
A typical day in the classroom is full of engaging activities and lessons that give students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and create a passion for reading and math.
My students enjoy opportunities that allow them to be creative with their knowledge.
They enjoy exploring resources through technology and working together. Our school works diligently to provide opportunity and experiences to our students that they may not have outside of the classroom to help support them as learners.
My Project
Within the classroom, students will be able to use the Kindle Fires to access their educational websites to practice both reading and math skills. They will be able to easily gain understanding of vocab through technology. This will also give students the opportunity to engage in all subjects through the excitement of technology. With the fraction dominoes students will be able to apply their knowledge and create a better understanding of a large part of the math curriculum in third grade. The pencil sharpeners, pencils and dry erase markers will allow students to complete their work successfully. We are running low on these materials and need additional supplies.
Donations for this project will improve my classroom by providing more students the ability to use technology during instructional time.
The donations will go towards classroom supplies to continue working diligently with and activities students can incorporate during center activities.
