"What are we learning today?" That's something that I hear from my students every day before they even enter the classroom. No matter what kind of morning they've had, they come to school with an enthusiasm that never ceases to astonish me.
My students are diverse with various learning needs and challenges.
We are a Title I school, helping to meet the needs of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. My students are hardworking, inspired students who amaze me every single day. I look forward to providing them with everything they deserve to have, including a classroom where they can all feel safe, understood and accepted for exactly who they are.
My Project
After watching satisfying resin pouring videos online, my students have expressed interest in trying to create their own resin designs. With a combination of different products like the resin, gloves, silicone molds, popsicle sticks, cups, and colored powder, students will be able to create multi-colored designs that can be used​ with a variety of projects. We're even asking for silicone mold that we can use to make our own models with!
Beyond the resin products we're requesting, we're also looking to improve our experience with things we already have in the classroom.
A water chiller will help to keep the laser tube in our laser cutter cool. This will ensure longer cutting times and a longer lifespan for our tube. We're also requesting Nintendo Joy-Con controllers to replace a broken one so that we can continue to experience multi-player opportunities with our Switch!
