Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We would like to give our scholars a place to reset, reflect, and then re-enter into the general campus flow. Currently, our scholars do not have a safe, comfortable, space to reset themselves as they continue to respond to their daily social and emotional issues. Many of our scholars carry onto our campus many heavy life issues that they have to immediately push aside and function through an 8-hour day. We want to give them a safe, comfortable, confidential space to reset as needed and reflect, and then prepare to face the day.
