My Students

The only way to truly understand the future is to study the past. Help my students to learn about famous Americans by actually becoming those people in a Wax Museum. My students will be involved in research, preparing a report about their personality and then preparing a speech to give.

My students are a diverse group of public school students.

Our school has three fourth grades and our students enjoy learning first hand. This project helps many of our students to build their self confidence as they find success in the process. They enjoy sharing their information with the other students at our school as well as their parents and families.

My Project

These materials will give each student a better opportunity to learn more information about the personality they have chosen. The laptop will be used for researching and typing their final drafts of their reports. The biographies will provide one more possible reference for them to use in gathering information. They will also be valuable for the lower level readers within my class.

My project meets the requirements of our district for students to complete research, evaluate information and create an informative piece of writing.

Students will be involved in researching, taking notes, organizing their materials and the creating their report.
