My Students

My students are creative minds that need inspiration and molding to achieve great things. My class consists of students who are intellectually gifted and need to be challenged with critical thinking activities.

In my classroom the students are encouraged to express creativity and develop critical thinking skills.

My students are part of the county's gifted program which is called S.P.I.R.I.T. The acronym stands for "Special Program In Reaching the Intellectually Talented." The students visit my classroom once a week coming from the different elementary schools across our school district.

My Project

These three Samsung Chromebooks will be put into the hands of information "hungry" students. My gifted students are always searching for the bigger picture or deeper understanding of topics. Gifted students are notorious for needing to know "why."

Gifted students possess the skills needed to become great leaders and visionaries, and they must have access to the best research tools to foster those skills.

Adding these three Chromebooks to our classroom will put this access at their fingertips and allow for endless opportunities to further understanding, spark new ideas, and learn about new topics of interest. My students will be able to make great strides with this new technology in our classroom.
