My Students
My students are a variety of age levels and abilities. I teach special education students with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional disturbance, ADHD, traumatic brain injuries and more.
Some of my students are reading on a pre-kindergarten level, while others are performing on or near grade-level.
My Project
My special needs students often times need access to technology applications that general education students don't often use. The use of a Chromebook allows for more diverse applications to be used to their capacity and for students to use dictation devices.
Chromebooks also allow for multi-tasking while researching and writing orally or on the keypad.
My hope is that my children will use these devices to expand their learning and produce projects that their typical peers are producing in their general education classrooms.
