Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Most of my students come from the projects next to the school. Many of them are eager to learn but lack some of the supplies to make it happen. My students most of the time can't afford to bring snacks and it's hard to always supply my students with snacks and everyday supplies for school. My students love to learn and always enjoy learning new things! I work in an inner-city school and what most people see as basic and easy to get, is not as easy for my students.

My Project

The materials I asked for will make a great difference on my students. My students need the pencils, paper, markers and activities to have a successful year! The students will use the ipad to help the, go on phonics and math websites to increase their reading and math skills. The students will use the magazine to explore science topics and expand their learning. The students will be able to use the resources provided on their name plates to help them while they are doing independent work. The tape, and post it papers will allow them complete projects. The ink and the copy paper will allow me to print worksheets for students to pratice new skills at school and at home.
