Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This year my students are relearning how to be a part of a group. They are coming out of the pandemic and learning to work together and co-exist. For many of them, this is their first experience in a school and their first time building relationships with students their age.

They are learning how to navigate big concepts like cooperation, empathy, teamwork and tolerance.

To guide them through this, they need toys and games that encourage these skills. They need books and puzzles that reflect who they are so they can see themselves in day to day activities.
