This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are an amazing group of excited and eager to learn kiddos.

I want my students to have resources that allow them to represent themselves in their work.

My project includes crayons and colored pencils that allow students to find a variety of color shades that represent their skin so they don't have to use peach , brown, tan as their only options. I have also requested resources including stories and crafts that will allow students to engage in learning about the traditions of other cultures. I know these resources will help to foster an appreciation of diversity in our classroom.
