Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 5th grade students are intelligent, eager to learn, and joyful about school. They make each day so bright and it is a privilege for me to teach such a wonderful group of children.

As we enter the second half of the school year, I hope to replenish essential student materials that are vital to maintaining an organized, welcoming, and successful learning environment.

Included in this order are two sets of durable folders that will help my students stay organized. Additionally, this order will provide my students with fresh pencils, erasers, and highlighters. All of which are essential resources that are used daily in all content areas.

Student incentive cards are also included to reward students for their daily effort, preparedness, and the positive habits they exemplify each day. These cards will help increase stamina and maintain motivation as the year becomes more rigorous.

Lastly, this project will also help to create a more calming, serene and peaceful classroom ambiance by providing our class with globe lights that will help limit the use of bright overhead lighting that can be overestimating to my neurodiverse students.
