Our room is a place of exploration and inquiry. My class is linguistically, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse. Each student brings their own unique qualities, learning styles, passions, and skills that I am committed to help foster and grow. In a new school that just opened this 2 years ago, resources can sometimes be limited. My students and I have found fun and interesting ways to make do with what we have.
Our class is full of voracious readers and inquisitive mathematicians.
They are always asking for more challenges and are motivated to do their best. These 4th graders are bursting with energy and enthusiasm. I love guiding them as they channel their energy to learning and discovery!
My Project
We were so successful earlier this year with our first project on flexible seating. Unfortunately through heavy use many of our special seats have worn down, or were not sturdy to begin with. Now that we have learned how to use these special seats our class is ready for more, and we would like to get one that will last.
Along with getting some replacements for our flexible seats, our class needs a replenishment on other supplies as well.
Towards the end of the year we focus more on STEAM. So we need engineering and art supplies to help us with our classroom projects. We are hoping to get these donations so that we can finish up our year strong!
