My Project
I opened a Snack Shack Store to reward students who earned Eagle Bucks for respect, kindness, responsibility, and being safe. Students redeem bucks to buy treats and I sold out of many items from the soft opening of our classroom store. Kids were excited to buy hot Cheetos, sour patch kids, and other items.
It's now time to replenish our supply of items and let students redeem Eagle Bucks for treats.
After opening my store and acknowledging students for their good behavior, I've noticed a decrease in disruptions, apathy, and poor behavior. Students are more inclined to make good decisions when there's an extrinsic incentive.
