My students need office supplies for next year to replenish what we consumed this school year. These are materials I would normally buy out of pocket, but DC allows me to get help with the restocking.
We are a school of more than six hundred students, ECE-fifth grade. Our school is committed to being a collaborative learning community where rigorous academics and character education ensure the development of the whole child. Character education, personalized learning, and a belief in a growth mindset is a big part of developing our learners into successful adults.
We design learning experiences to meet the unique learning needs of each student so that all of our children develop 21st-century skills, like critical thinking and reasoning, self-direction, collaboration, invention, and innovation.

My Project
Supplies are running short. We are in need of mini-magnetic erasers, dry erase markers, magazine racks, big board erasers and white board cleaner, and electronics wipes to clean the screens of our computers.
As third graders, we are constantly trying to keep our materials in pristine condition, however, after nine months of steady use and as we think about packing up our classroom in June, some items will have served us well, but will be ready to be retired.
This project will allow us to replace the consumable items, like erasers, cleaners, dry erasers and markers we are in need of to start the 2018-2019 school year.
