My students need these items in order to have the tools that are needed while operating the computers in the STEM lab. The students utilize the computers to complete in order to complete STEM related projects.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our students reside in an urban area with an average income of no more than 20,000 per year. 100% of students receive free and reduced lunch and public assistance. Our students attend a STEM school where innovation and growth mindset is a key focus. Our mission utilizes STEM to provide students with opportunities for future success.

We have been a STEM school for over three years and have made great strides in the areas of curricular development and STEM related competitions.

Additional resources will continue to excite and expand our children's perspectives and improve our teacher's pedagogy.

My Project

Our STEM Lab needs a technology makeover. In the lab, students must interface with technology in order to enhance their skills in communication and collaboration for the purposes of completing rigorous tasks such as problem based learning, project based learning , and the various technology tasks in the Creative Learning Systems Suite. The computers and the components are five years old. We are in need of replacement keyboards and mice in order for students to be able to continue strive to be 21st century students; in the competitive world of STEM. If we support our students; we solidify their futures.
