This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Donorschoose.org has changed my classroom! The project I received through donations through Donorschoose have invigorated our classroom with exciting visual components. The projector has been put to great use. So much so, that it has broken. Our Hitachi projector needs a new lamp.

Our students are low income students in a low performing urban public school system.

However, our students are everything but low performing. Our students are high achieving and highly motivated to get to college. I teach students in grades Pre K 3 through 2nd grade. These students are highly varied but all equally motivated to succeed.

My Project

Our school does not have the resources to pay for projectors yet alone projector parts that are very expensive. This project will deeply invigorate my classroom, allowing students to experience learning in a brand new way. They love getting to see short clips of videos or incorporating games into lessons.

Donorschoose has already helped our students in a great way experience learning through a new lens.

Please allow my students to continue to enjoy learning through new and exciting technology.
