Help me give my students dry erase boards, dry erase makers, supply pouches, pencils, scissors, glues, sticks, magnetic letters, math counters (Bears), and pencil sharpeners.
I teach at a low-income school that needs some team/ school spirit! Many of our families live in government-subsidized housing and can often times live a transient lifestyle. Our goal is to help them get and keep the resources that each family needs to create a more stable living environment and hopefully eliminate moving from school to school. Our school wants to be a place where students and families feel welcome where students and families feel welcome. To do this we feel as if we need to create more school and community spirit more school and community spirit.
My Project
I am trying to create supply bags for my students. I chose supplies that would be easy to put in a bag and use during the students' online instruction. I am asking for basic supplies such as pencils, glue, and scissors and small pencil sharpeners, as well as, dry erase boards and markers and magnetic letters, and math counters that will have students use during our online meetings.
I have tried to think of everything we will need to try to make learning at home as meaningful as possible given the current situation.
